Pistachios

Healthy and full of good ingredients: pistachios are bursting with positive properties. The stone fruit is often eaten roasted and salted on its own, but is also popular in pastries and cakes. Not only do they contain lots of anti-inflammatory antioxidants, unsaturated fatty acids and amino acids, but also potassium, vitamin B6, magnesium and much more.

Marzipan paste

Marzipan paste is the preliminary stage of marzipan and is created during its production. It is made from two parts sweet almonds and one part sugar, which must never be more than 35%. The mixture must also contain a maximum of 17% moisture and at least 28% almond oil. The marzipan paste is often used in baking and gives pastries, cakes and the like a very special aroma.

Rice flour

Rice flour is a gluten-free type of flour which, as the name suggests, consists of rice grains that are ground into a fine flour. The consistency is similar to that of cereal flour, but much finer. It is used for baking and cooking and is particularly popular in Asian cuisine.

Almonds

Almonds belong to the stone fruit family and are therefore not, as most people assume, nuts. Nevertheless, they are in no way inferior to nuts, as almonds are also full of nutrients and are therefore not only versatile, but also quite healthy. It is particularly good to eat almonds unpeeled, as fatty acids, vitamins, fiber etc. are mainly found in the almond skin.

Isabella's cake flour is our own gluten-free flour mix for pastries. The perfect gluten-free flour for delicious sponge, sponge cake or shortcrust pastry. The flour mix works particularly well in vegan doughs, but can easily be substituted 1:1 in all basic recipes.
